A visit to Scotland

Taken last September during a driving holiday in Scotland, these views are in and around the sleepy harbour village of Queensferry which nestles on the south bank of the Firth of Forth under the shadow of the iconic Forth Rail and Road Bridges.

This location is one I’ve always wished to visit and a few days spent exploring the area was certainly worth the journey. To get ‘up close and personal’ with the Rail Bridge, one of the world’s great feats of Victorian engineering, was a real treat and gave fantastic opportunities for some wonderful land and seascape photography!
